Rogers, Kathryn "Kathy" (Piasente), Herndon, Va, native of New Florence, passed away April 6, 2014 at Reston Hospital Center, Reston, VA. Born April 15, 1949 in Johnstown the daughter of the late Casimiro and Joanna (Sbardella) Piasente. Also preceded in death by brother-in-law James P. Garber. Survived by daughter Stephenie Joanna and husband Matthew Scott, Mastic, NY. Grandchildren Daniel Kenneth and Samantha Kathryn Scott. Sisters Mabel (Piasente) Garber of Tarkio, MO and Lillian "Rudi" Piasente, Herndon, VA. Kathy was a 1967 graduate of Laurel Valley High School and a 1969 graduate of Cambria Rowe Business College. Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Wednesday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence. Funeral mass will be 10 AM Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church, 425 Bridge St., Seward. Rev. Robert Washko officiating. Internment Fairfield Cemetery.
