Katherine E. Lear, 88, Bolivar went to be with the Lord October 8, 2022, at Scenery Hill Manor, Indiana.  Born April 2, 1934, in Bolivar daughter of late James Elmer and Elizabeth M. "Lib" (Yeager) Deemer.  Also preceded in death by husband Earl Leroy Lear, and brother James Deemer and infant brother David Deemer.

Survived by sister Sharon Nixon and husband William, Robinson, and several nieces and nephews, and many friends.

She was a member of First Church of Christ in Bolivar where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years.  She would help anyone who would ask.

Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 pm Tuesday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home and 1 pm till time of service 2 pm Wednesday at First Church of Christ, 3041 Rt 259, Bolivar.  Lloyd Campbell officiating.  Interment Bolivar West View Cemetery.  Online condolences may be made at thestuartfuneralhomes.com
