Katherine Florine "Bone" Burkett, 85, Bolivar passed away April 24, 2020 at home surrounded by her family in prayer. Born January 13, 1935 in Bolivar, the daughter of late George and Martha (Hart) Muir. Also preceded in death by sisters Mary Ellen Boring, Martha Short and Della Zimmerman, brother John Muir. Survived by her adoring and faithful husband of 63 years James Burkett; doting and loving daughters Theresa M. Allshouse, Fletcher, NC; and Jennifer Burkett, Bolivar; granddaughter Dannielle Mikolic; great-grandchild Phynn Rundle, both of Bolivar. Katherine was a devote Catholic who loved the Lord.
