Obituary

Priest, Karen (Henderson), 67, New Florence, passed away December 18, 2016 at Beacon Ridge Manor. Born July 22, 1949 in Ligonier, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Louise (Tantlinger) Henderson. Also, preceded in death by sister Margery Jasper. Survived by husband Robert Priest; children Jeff Priest and wife Deanna, Murfreesboro, TN; daughter Stacy Colson and husband Robert, Clyde; grandchildren Drew, Julia and Ashlyn Priest, Payton and Bryce Colson; sisters Agnes Gibson and Romayne Galbraith both of New Florence; and nieces, nephews and extended family members. Karen enjoyed sitting in the sun by the pool, spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends. She fought a courageous 27-year battle with cancer. She was a member of O.E.S. Fort Ligonier Chapter 349 where she was a past matron and the Red Hats. Karen was formerly employed as an administrative assistant at Bethlehem Steel Corp, Johnstown.
