Joseph D. Hutchinson, Sr., 74, Shady Grove passed away August 7, 2016 at home born November 24, 1941 the son of late Joseph Hutchinson and Florence Hutchinson Quick. Also preceded in death by step-father James Quick and great-grandson Ivan Mielnik. Survived by wife of 56 years Ida Hutchinson; children James Hutchinson, Shady Grove; Holly Hicks and husband Jack, Altoona; Florence Freed and husband James, Homer City; Joseph Hutchinson, Jr. and wife Diane, Shady Grove; 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Joe was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed camping, playing poker, gardening, car shows and watching NASCAR and local stock car racing. Friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8 PM Tuesday at the Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St. Armagh where service will be held 11 am Wednesday. Pastor Mark Griffith officiating.
