Spack, John R., 91, Johnstown died September 5, 2011 at Memorial Medical Center. Born June 5, 1920 in Johnstown the son of late John and Catherine (Visosky) Spack. Also preceded in death by brothers Daniel and Robert Spack and sisters Frances Hertzer and Pauline Hertzer Moran. Survived by wife of 54 years Marie (Boring) Spack; brother of Albert Spack and Catherine Enderlein, both of Johnstown and Thomas Spack, Tampa, FL; also numerous niece, nephews, brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws. Retiree of Painters and Allied Trades Local 409, Greensburg. US Army Air Corps Veteran of WWII having served in the Philippines Islands and Okinawa Japan. 1938 graduate of Johnstown Catholic High School where he played both football and baseball.
