Mack, John E. "Knuck", 68, Armagh passed away December 24, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born February 17, 1947 in Johnstown the son of late John C. and Dorothy E. (McCachren) Mack. Also preceded in death by son Darryl Evan Mack, brothers Floyd and Dean Mack, sister Kaye Dillon, father-in-law Joseph Vasas. Survived by wife of 46 years Diane (Vasas) Mack; children John J. "J.J." Mack and wife Paula, Vintondale; Amanda Penrose and husband Ronald, Bolivar; Gerald Mack and wife Christine, Myersville, MD; grandchildren Devin and Delaney Mack, Alyssa, Johnathon, Tanner, Evan and Blake Penrose; brothers and sisters Carl Mack and wife Donna, Seward; Louise Johnson and husband Ken, Erie; Alice Murdick and husband Gilbert, Erie, Faye Bowers, Seward; Rodney "Cub" Mack and wife Becky, Homer City; brother-in-law Joseph Vasas and wife Rhea, Armagh; sisters-in-law Donna Fletcher and husband Joseph Mundy's Corner; Phyllis Obrets and husband Joseph, Twin Rocks; Kathleen Dillon and fiancé Keith Beaupre, York, SC; special friends Dave and Sue Skaggs and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members. Knuck was a US Army Veteran of Vietnam War, a retired local contractor who enjoyed wood working. He always had to be busy and couldn't sit still and was willing to help anyone. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren and attending their games and activities. Friends received 2-4 and 6-9 PM Monday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh where service will be held 11 AM Tuesday. Pastor Phillip Mack officiating. Interment Armagh Cemetery.
