Joanna Lichtenfels Policichio, 84, Bolivar passed away May 21, 2024, at home.  Born January 1, 1940, in Burrell Township the daughter of late Richard and Viola (King) McAdams.  Also preceded in death by first husband George R. "Ron" Lichtenfels, Sr., daughter Linda Lawhead, granddaughter Melissa Lichtenfels, sister Twila McAdams, and brother Dave McAdams.

Survived by husband Thomas "Tom" Policichio, children George Lichtenfels, Jr. and wife Sherry, North Carolina; Cheryl Miller and husband Donald, New Florence; ten grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren; brothers Richard McAdams, Strongstown; Glenn McAdams and wife Linda Blairsville; Roy McAdams and wife Patricia, Northern Cambria; numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Joanna was an author who had her book "Henry the forgotten Reindeer" published.  She was a former mayor of Bolivar, and enjoyed numerous crafts including ceramics and crocheting, and gardening.  She was an avid reader who read her Bible daily.

Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 PM, Tuesday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence where service will be held 1PM Wednesday.  Interment Bethel Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers a donation of one's choice in memory of Joanna.
