James E. Leydig, 70, New Florence, passed away December 25, 2022, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.  Born July 16, 1952, in Johnstown the son of late Harry and Ida (Yaconi) Leydig.

Survived by wife Vickie (Mack) Leydig, brother Mark Leydig and wife Machelle, Berlin; sister Lona Condrick, Johnstown; and several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews.

Jim was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the US Marine Corps, a disabled veteran, and a retired coal miner, who enjoyed sky diving at which he was a jump master and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

There will be no public visitation or service.  Private inurnment at Armagh Cemetery.
