Obituary of James A. Wagner
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James A. Wagner, of New Florence, who left us peacefully from natural causes on November 28, 2025, at UPMC Mercy Hospital. Born on September 18, 1965, in Johnstown, son of late Robert B. and Joan (Betts) Wagner, also preceded in death by sister Robin Wagner.
Jim lived a life marked by kindness, dedication, having retired as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Torrance State Hospital. He enjoyed going to casinos, gambling, canning, going to stock car races at Jennerstown, and spending time with family and friends. Jim held a special place in the hearts of those who knew him; his kindness, humor, and unwavering spirit touched everyone around him.
Friends received Friday December 5, 2025, from 2-4 PM and 6 PM until time of service 8 PM. Private Interment at Germany Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Four Footed Friends, 220 Becks Road, Indiana, PA 15701.
