Hill, Irene, 98, Blairsville, passed away July 13, 2015 at the home of her son James. Born December 27, 1916 in Lovejoy, Indiana County the daughter of late Charles and Hilda Laymen. Also preceded in death by husband of 65 years Harry A. Hill; sisters Eva Penrose, Edith Penrose, Stella Dias, Dot Johnston and Ruth Clark. Survived by children Charles Hill and wife Nancy (Edwards), South Fork; James Hill and wife Linda (Rudnik), Cramer; Terry Hill and wife Elizabeth (Nixon), Clymer; and Tim Hill and wife Bonnie (Rudnik), Blairsville; Butch Hill and wife Sandy (Davis), Blairsville; 26 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren and 18 great- great-grandchildren; sister Ethel Patochniak, Shady Grove; and loyal furry companions Lucy her dog and Simple her cat. Friends received 2 to 8 PM Wednesday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh, where service will be held 2 PM Thursday, Pastor Wendy Henderson officiating.
