Ida Hutchinson

Ida M. Hutchinson, 87, Shady Grove, passed away November 16, 2025, at The Communities at Indian Haven. Born October 29, 1938, in Summerville, the daughter of late Marie and Dean Barnett. Also preceded in death by husband Joseph D. Hutchinson, granddaughter Nicole Marie Hutchinson, and great-grandson Ivan Melnick.

Survived children James Hutchinson and fiancé Toni Chango, Shady Grove; Holly Hicks, Altoona; Florence Freed and husband James, Homer City; Joseph Hutchinson, Jr. and fiancé Kim Anderson, Shady Grove; many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Brother Al Barnett.

Ida was a very active member of Pen View-Mount Tabor Methodist Church. She enjoyed camping, car shows, crocheting, and had a love for animals. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh, where service will be held 11 AM Thursday. Pastor Kim Betz, officiating. Interment Pen View-Mount Tabor Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Ida's name may be made to Penn View-Mount Tabor Church, 4660 Rt. 22 Hwy. E., Blairsville, PA 15717.
