Howard, Harry F., 82, New Florence died June 27, 2008 at home. Born April 6, 1926 in New Florence the son of late Curtis and Pearl (Oliver) Howard. Also preceded in death by wife Phyllis (Fisher) Howard and brothers Paul, Raymond and Homer Howard. Survived by children Shirley Marie Shick and husband Dennis, Indiana; Daniel Francis Howard and wife Shirley Jean (Bogart), Cambridge, OH; Mark Harry Howard and wife Mildred (Castelli), Chandler, AZ; Trudy Nixon, Jessup, GA; Stephen Lynn Howard and wife Christen (Bracey), South Port, N.C. Grandchildren Rachell (Shick) Arnold, Keith Shick, Scott Shick, Michael Nixon, Rebecca (Shick) Wimmer, Jason Nixon, Mark Patrick "JR" Howard, Michael Curtis Howard and Caroline Howard. Great-Grandchildren Elena Arnold, Jordan Mark Howard, Blaire Shick, Kylee Nixon and Ava Arnold. Brother Fred C. Howard, Mason, OH. US Navy Veteran of WWII. Retired Delivery Driver of Sanitary Dairy, Johnstown. Member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, New Florence, where he served as an elder and clerk of sessions. Board member of both West Fairfield Cemetery Assoc. and Fairfield Community Center. Enjoyed mowing numerous lawns. Friends received 7-9 PM Monday and 2-4 and -7-9 PM Tuesday at Kenneth A. Stuart, New Florence. Funeral Service 4 PM Wednesday at Trinity Presbyterian Church, New Florence Pastor James Tomb officiating. Interment Fairfield Cemetery.
