Grace Gavin, of Laurel View Village, went to be with the Lord October 19, 2019.  Born January 6, 1928 in Dilltown, the daughter of the late Frank and Nellie (Dias) Stewart.  Wife of Paul Gavin, who preceded her in death on April 15, 2010.  Also preceded in death by siblings Elzie, William, James, Ethel, Mary, Mabel, Matilda, and Helen.  Grace was the last member of her immediate family.

She worked at Bell Telephone for 15 years and retired after 33 years from General Telephone Company in 1980.  Grace was a church pianist for over 40 years at Memorial Baptist Church in Dilltown, where she was a lifetime member.  She also served as President of the Women's Prayer Fellowship for 20 years.  For two years she was the pianist at Hilltop Baptist Church in Westmont and continued playing at Laurel View Village.  She was thankful for the many friends she had at Laurel View Village.

Friends will be received 2 -4 and 6-8PM Tuesday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh where service will be held 11AM Wednesday.  Interment Armagh Cemetery.
