Goldie Ann Mack, 88, Clyde, a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, went to be with the Lord on February 16, 2026. Born December 6, 1937, the daughter of the late George and Mary (Seibert) Simon. Also preceded in death by sisters Elizabeth Biondo, Mary Kerekes, Helen Ernhardt, Margaret Caparimo, and Irene Devlin. Brothers George, John, Joseph and William "Dina" Simon.

Goldie was united in marriage to her devoted husband, William E. Mack, for 68 years, and together they created a warm and welcoming home filled with laughter and kindness. She is survived by husband William, her cherished children, daughter Janie Short and husband Randy, her son William J. Mack. Goldie's legacy continues through her loving grandchildren, Meghan Hollen and husband Austin, Karen Mack and husband Dylan Fess, Garrett L. Short, and Gregory L. McCully, as well as her great-grandchildren, Myles and Blake. In addition, she is also survived by one brother Frank Simon along with numerous nieces and nephews.


A pillar of her community, Goldie was a dedicated Secretary and Teacher's Aide at Armagh Elementary School, where she nurtured the minds and hearts of countless children. She also served as a Notary, further demonstrating her commitment to helping others. As a faithful member of Bethel United Presbyterian Church and an active participant in the Clyde Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, Goldie exemplified the spirit of service, always ready to lend a hand to those in need.


Goldie's passions included cooking and baking; she enjoyed collecting recipes and sharing her culinary creations with family and friends. She had a special touch for sewing and cherished working in her yard, reflecting her love for the beauty of nature. Notably, she devoted herself to caring for her husband, Bill, after his injury, demonstrating unwavering love and dedication.

Goldie Ann Mack will forever hold a special place in the hearts of all who knew her. Her legacy of love, service, and family will continue to inspire those she leaves behind. She will be greatly missed, yet her spirit will live on in the memories she created and the lives she touched.

At Goldie's request there will be no public viewing at this time. Interment Armagh Cemetery.

A memorial service will be held 2 PM Sunday March 15, 2026, at Bethel United Presbyterian Church, 1354 Bethel Cemetery Rd., New Florence. Pastor Jim Sunseri officiating.
