Glenn M. Rager, Sr., 84, Charles, went to be with the Lord April 12, 2026, at home. Born July 8, 1941, in Johnstown the son of the late Roy C. Rager, Sr. and Marcella Rose Brudar-Rager. Also preceded in death by wife Mary (Boring) Rager whom he was married to for 46 years, and brothers Norman (Bonnie), Richard (Elizabeth) and John (Becky).
Survived by his children Barbara (Dan) Turner, Seward; Cheryl (Mark) Wandler, Fairless Hills; Glenn Rager, Jr., and Richard Rager, both Charles. Grandchildren Joshua (Rebekah), Jared (Makayla), Matthew, Joseph, Garret, and Nicole. Great Grandchildren Hunter, Christopher, Abigail, Trysten, and Trevor. Sisters Debbie Miranda and Rosemarie Christy. Brothers Kenneth (Peggy), West Virginia; and Nathan Troutman, Johnstown; and ice cream buddy and faithful companion Desi. Also survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Glenn served in the Navy as a Bottsman BM2, on the USS Dodge County. He was also an electrician in the Tunnelton Mines and in the Carpenter's Union. He enjoyed carpentry, fishing, hunting, and yard work. Glenn greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren.
Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh, where service will be held 11 AM Friday. Pastor Ruth Moore officiating. Interment Armagh Cemetery. Military honors by the US Navy and Blairsville Military Honor Guard. The family would like to express their since gratitude to Windber Hospice.
