Gladys Shetler

Gladys (Boring) Shetler, 89, New Florence, passed away on January 4, 2026, at Hilltop Heights Health & Rehab Center. Born, July 28, 1936, the daughter of the late Harold "Skunk" and Nora Agnes (Leary) Boring. Also preceded in death by husband Paul Allen Shetler; son Gregory Shetler; great-grandson Justin Shetler, Jr.; sisters Amy Critchfield, Shirly Stiffey, Janet McGinnis, and Margaret Waterhouse; brothers Eugene Boring and Arnold Boring, Sr.; daughter-in-law Robin Shetler.

Survived by children Paul E. Shetler, New Florence; Connie (Brad) Foust, Bolivar; Cindy (Chuck) Krause, Bolivar; Myra (Moe) Rager, Johnstown; Betty (Edward) Worthington, Johnstown; Ray Shetler (Roz), Bolivar. Grandchildren Adam, Erik, Jason, Benjamin, Chuckie, Chad, Michael, Jennifer, Ray, Jr., Jonathan and Justin. 18 Great-grandchildren.

Gladys could be found supporting her local community, by attending bingo and basket party's which she enjoyed, she was always active and loved going to yard sales, eating out or just roaming around and taking rides. She adored Paul's pizza.

Friends received 2-8 PM Wednesday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence, where service will be held 11AM Thursday. Pastor Nick Ramirez officiating. Interment Germany Lutheran Cemetery.
