Gladys C Hughes, 91, Bolivar passed away September 26, 2021, at the Bethlen Home, Ligonier.  Born February 26, 1930, in West Bolivar the daughter of late Bryan and Sophia (Maley) Boring.  Also preceded in death by husband William B. Hughes, grandson Randy Murphy and brother Charles Boring.

Survived by children Karen Murphy, William F. Hughes and wife Elizabeth, Greg Hughes and wife Lenore, all of Bolivar; grandchildren Stacy Murphy, Angela Kennedy, Jennifer Corneliussen, and Gregory Hughes great-grandchildren Dylan and Haley Murphy, Mason Licktenfelt, Alex and Shane Murphy, Remi Corneliussen.

Gladys enjoyed crocheting and made numerous afghans, also enjoyed cooking, and took pride in her home always making sure it was spotless. But most of all spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 pm Thursday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence where service will be held 11 am Friday.  Interment Bolivar West View Cemetery.
