Obituary

Geraldine W. Boring, 88, Robinson passed away May 26, 2024, at Beacon Ridge.  Born June 19, 1935, in Fairfield Twp. the last surviving child of Lemon B. and Mary Jane (Garland) Wisner.  Also preceded in death by husband James Boring, sisters Alice Metzler, Mary Fisher, Ruth Bier and Eleanor Close, brothers Cloyd, Raymond, Robert, Paul, and infant brother John Wisner.

Survived by children Gloria Clark and husband Gary, Brush Valley; Georgetta McClure, Robinson; Greg Boring and wife Karen, Robinson; grandchildren Brian and James Clark, Scott and Glen McClure, Linsey Forsythe, Amanda Lantzy and Emilea Rippin; great-grandchildren Koty, Austin, Ashley, Aiden, Zack, Riley, Ethan, Raleigh, Alexis, Hannah, and Beau; great-great-grandchildren Harper and McKinley.

Geraldine was a member of Beacon Independent Baptist Church, and National Campers and Hiker, Ft. Ligonier chapter.  She enjoyed scrap booking, needle point, watching her beloved Pittsburgh Penguins, and cooking for her church.

Friends received from 3-7 pm Thursday at the Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence, and 10 am until time of service 11 am Friday at Beacon Independent Baptist Church, 536 Market St., Bolivar.  Pastor Paul Lint Officiating.  Internment Germany Lutheran Cemetery.
