Flickinger, Gerald L., 79, Bolivar, passed away October 13, 2017 at The Bethlen Home, Ligonier. Born September 12, 1938 in Bolivar the son of the late Walter W., Sr. and Dora (Kastner) Flickinger. Also preceded in death by sister Edna Rhodes and brother Walter "Bud" Flickinger. Survived by loving wife Natalie Henderson Flickinger. Children Douglas Flickinger and wife Pat, Carlisle; Christina LaRosse and husband Donald, New Florence; Renee Long and husband Glen, New Florence; Nadine Bealonis, Johnstown; Nina Dodds and husband Kerry, Seward; Bruce Henderson, NC. 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; sisters Mildred and Ferg Flickinger. Jerry retired from Torrance State Hospital where he worked as a meat cutter, he enjoyed his time with children working at Idlewild and was Santa for many years in local parades. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 pm Sunday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence where service will be held 2 pm Monday. Pastor Kim Sisitki Officiating.
