George R. Boring, 75, Blairsville, passed away November 30, 2021, at Indiana Reginal Medical Center.  Born December 13, 1945, the son of the late Cloyde R. and Laura M. (Frain) Boring.  Also preceded in death by sister Shirley.

Survived by children Martin Boring and wife Heidi, Blairsville; Shelby Custer and husband Paul, Fayetteville, PA; grandchildren Paul Custer, Jr., Candice Custer, Zack Boring, and Christina (Custer) Shearer; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters Donna Boring, Blairsville; Diana Penrose and husband Dennis, Seward; brother Lynn Boring, Climax.

George enjoyed puzzle books, his antique model car and hi hoot owl collections.

Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 pm Thursday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence where service will be held 2 pm Friday.  Pastor David Peightal officiating.  Interment Bethel Cemetery.
