Frank D. Johnstone Sr., 77, Robb passed away February 13, 2013 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital. Born October 19, 1935 in McChesneytown the son of late Robert and Ella Mae (Green) Johnstone. Survived by wife of 45 years Patricia (Bartosh) Johnstone; children Frank D. Johnstone Jr. and wife Julie (Peters), New Florence; Kevin Johnstone; Bunker Hill, WV; Melissa Shaner and husband Adam, Pittsburgh; grandhildren Nicholas, Ashlee and Brittnee Johnstone; sisters Josie Malick, Derry; Dorothy Musa, South Greensburg; numerous nieces and nephews; former daughter-in-law Wendy (Utzler) Johnstone; Bunker Hill, WV. Preceded in death by brothers Arthur, Harry, William and James; sister Margaret. Retire employee of Florence Mining Co. where he was known as Bull Whells, enjoyed hunting and fishing. Friends received from 2-4 PM and 6-8PM Friday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh, PA. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1 PM Saturday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Seward, PA. Rev. Robert Washko officiating. Interment Armagh Cemetery.
