Lichtenfels, Francis G., Sr., 68, Bolivar,  passed away January 19, 2018 at home. Born April 21, 1949 in Johnstown the son of late Hazel (Penrose) Lichtenfels. Also preceded in death by brothers George and Edward Lichtenfels; sister Erma Patricko; mother-in-law Patricia Dunmire. Survived by wife Diana (Dunmire) Lichtenfels; daughter Christina Hall and husband Monty, Bolivar; son Francis "J.R." Lichtenfels, Heshbon; grandchildren Jordan Hall, Tyler Hall, Bradley Lichtenfels and Tapanga Lichtenfels; great-grandson Taylor Hall; brothers Charles Penrose, Armagh; Robert Lichtenfels, Seward; Carl Lichtenfels, Seward; Richard Lichtenfels, Armagh; William Lichtenfels, Bolivar; Leonard Lichtenfels, New Florence; brother-in-law Harold Jay Spengler, Attica, KS; sister-in-law Patti Stivison. Francis was a retired coal miner and member of UMWA Local 1257, who enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great-grandson. Friends received 2-4 and 6 till time of sharing and military honors at 8 pm Sunday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence.
