Eugene Edwin Secrist, 90, Ligonier (Wilpen), passed away May 24, 2020, at home with his loving family by his side. Born January 17, 1930 in Hannastown, the son of the late George Dewey and Agnes Myrtle (Parfitt) Secrist. Also preceded in death by wife Ellen (McMasters); daughter Kristen. Brothers Arthur, Kenneth, George, Raymond, Melvin, and Robert. Survived by sons Daryl Secrist, Memphis and James Secrist, Latrobe. 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Brothers James Secrist, Greensburg; John Secrist and wife Mary, Finleyville; Richard Secrist and wife Peggy, Irwin. Sisters Eileen Wadsworth and Ruth Wright and husband Richard both of St. Petersburg, FL. Eugene was a Korea War veteran serving in the Army's 2nd Infantry Baton. He was retired from Westinghouse in Derry and worked in industrial ceramics.
