Brendlinger, Ernest C.,90, Armagh, passed away November 26, 2016 at home. Born April 25, 1926 in New Florence, the son of the late Thomas and Gladys (Lute) Brendlinger. Also, preceded in death by sons Ernest Wayne Brendlinger, and Barry C. Brendlinger, Sr. Sisters Betty Jones, Emma Gibbons and Jane Brendlinger. Survived by loving wife of 68 years Cora M. (Jones); children Judy Buckley, Prince Frederick, MD; Nancy Adams, Prince Fredrick, MD; Timothy R. Brendlinger, Armagh; Alan E. Brendlinger, Prince Frederick, MD; Crystal Carper, Huntingdon; 21 grandchildren; and over 25 great-grandchildren; brother of Virginia Miller, Westmont; Thomas Brendlinger, Anchorage, AK; Murland Brendlinger, Indiana; Gladys Stiles, Blairsville; Agnes Marsh, New Florence; Earl Brendlinger, Seward; Harry Brendlinger, Lititz; Darline Madey, Homer City; Barbara Mitchell, Lititz; Gary Brendlinger, Blairsville. Ernie was an accomplished musician who enjoyed fishing and staying at camp. He was also a US Army Veteran of WWII and retired diesel truck mechanic for Mack Trucks. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 pm Tuesday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh where service will be held 11 am Wednesday, Pastor Joseph Walls officiating. Interment Bethel Cemetery. Military rite by local veterans' organization. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
