Nixon, Elmer Ray, 87, formerly of Robinson died August 11, 2013 at Indiana Regional Medical Center. Born February 11, 1926 in Robinson, son of the late Walter and Mary (Miller) Nixon. Also preceded in death by wife June Louise (Short) Nixon; daughter Tina Potochniak, brothers Wilson, John, Clark, Dave, Dan and infant brother Irvin Nixon, sister Orea Busch. Survived by sons Timothy Nixon working for the US government in California and wife Anna Jane (Winebrenner), Oregon; Fred Nixon and wife Deborah (Richardson), Armagh; grandchildren Jason Nixon, Jenny Ressler and husband William, Jarred Nixon, Gwen (Potochniak) Reisinger and husband Patrick, April (Potochniak) Smith and husband Matthew, Sheila (Nixon) O'Leary and husband Bryan, and Renee Nixon; great-grandchildren, Harrison, Hayley, MacKenzie and Lila; sister Jean Wise, Latrobe and brother Tom Nixon and wife Felicia, Sun City, FL;. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Ray was a retired employee of Bethlehem Steel Corp, Johnstown Plant, owner/operator of Ray's Sharp All and US Navy Veteran of WWII. Friends received from 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh. Future memorial service and inurnment Penn View Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
