Powell, Ellen E., 95, Hollsopple, Died January 16, 2011 at Laurelwood Care Center. Born November 8, 1915 in Carnoff, Clearfield County, daughter of the late Joseph and Bertha (Hutchins) Hunt. Also preceded in death by husband John A. Powell, brothers, Joseph, John, and William Hunt, and sister, June Schrier. Survived by daughters Judith and husband Bud Kivisto Wisconsin: Carol and husband Randy Sargent of Hollsopple; grandchildren, Jonell Kivisto, Colorado; Aaron Kivisto, Wisconsin; Joseph Sargent, Pittsburgh; great-granddaughter Larissa Judith Kivisto; sisters: Martha Howard, Johnstown; Mildred Simms, Boswell; many nieces and nephews and long time friend Cathy Piscatello. Member of World Wide Church of God since 1956 and an avid seamstress. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St, Armagh, where service will be held 11:00 am on Thursday with Pastor Brian Simmons officiating. Interment Armagh Cemetery.
