Elaine Ann Ryan, 79, Seward passed away peacefully at home on May 4, 2025.  Born March 5, 1946, in Johnstown the daughter of late, Lester Earl and Sarah L. (Cobaugh) Plummer.  Also preceded in death by husband Arthur L. Ryan, granddaughter Jennifer Ryan, and siblings Helene Dietz, Ronald Plummer, Ruth Lehman, and Frances Smith.

Survived by children Robert Ryan, Seward; Richard Ryan and Arthur Ryan, both of Florida.  Grandchildren, Tyler Ryan, Alexis Ryan, Robert Ryan and Abby Ryan and two great-grandchildren.  Siblings Charles Plummer, North Carolina; and Sally Behar, New Jersey.

Elaine lived in Johnstown until she was 21 years old, and graduated from Greater Johnstown H.S.  She married Arthur on June 18, 1964, and lived in North Brunswick, N.J. for 36 years then decided to move back to Pennsylvania.  Elaine enjoyed gardening, playing Bingo and spending time with her family, especially on the holidays where you would find her in the kitchen cooking up a feast with her son, Robert.  Elaine always made herself available for those that needed her help.  She showed unconditional love, advice and patience to everyone that crossed onto her path.  Our lives change from day to day, but the love and memories of Elaine will live in our hearts forever
