Obituary

Edward Rudnik, 84, Armagh, passed away March 24, 2013 at Memorial Medical Center. Born March 6, 1929 in Charles, the son of the late Gust, Sr and Katie (Koontz) Rudnik. Also preceded in death by brothers Wilbert Rudnik, who was killed in action during WWII in Germany and Harry Rudnik; sisters Evelyn Geschke and Edith Wilson. Survived by children Edward Rudnik and wife Christine, Cramer; Mary Kay Rhoades and husband Jeff, New Florence; Judy Brickner and husband Brad, New Florence; Michael Rudnik and wife Tina, Johnstown; grandchildren Eric and Christopher Rudnik; Crista Boring; Amanda Kinsey; Jenalee Vehovic; Courtney Brickner; Melanie Corrigan; Angie Watt; and Rebecca Rudnik; 17 Great-Grandchildren. Brother of Helen Rudnik, Armagh; Gust Rudnik, Hixson, TN; and Richard Rudnik, South Fork; former wife Alvina Rudnik, Seward; Also numerous nieces and nephews. Ed was an avid fisherman, hunter and trapper, retired coal miner, member of UMWA who cared deeply about his family. Friends received Tuesday from 2-6 pm Tuesday at Richard C.
