Edward A. Knapic, Sr., 91, Robinson, went home to be with the Lord on November 3, 2025, at Beacon Ridge. Born on September 26, 1934, in Charles, Edward was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, whose life was marked by unwavering dedication and resilience.
Preceded in death by parents Michael S. and Elizabeth (Baylock) Knapic. Also loving wife of 65 years Florence (Altimus) Knapic. Sisters Margaret, Katherine and infant sister Catherine, and brothers John, Michael, William and infant brother Raymond. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Ed will be lovingly remembered by his children, Mary McFeaters; Edward Knapic Jr. and wife Debbie (McCloskey); Matthew Knapic and wife Cathie (Hoffman), Mark Knapic and wife Anita (DeRubis),

Millard & husband Randy, Luke Knapic, Elizabeth Knapic, John Knapic and wife Robin (Hood), 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one to be born in January. He often found joy in family gatherings, sharing laughter and wisdom with his beloved children and grandchildren, each of whom he held dear.
A coal miner by trade, Ed worked diligently for the Florence Mine, contributing not only to the industry but also to the fabric of his community. He was a man of humble beginnings, having pursued college credit without completing a formal degree, yet he understood the value of hard work, instilling these values in his family and those around him. As we honor Edward's life, we invite all who knew him to join us in commemorating his legacy and the remarkable journey of a man who devoted his life to his family and community as an ordained minister serving the Lord.
Friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh, where services will be held 11 AM Friday Pastor James Sunseri officiating, Interment St. Mary's Cemetery.
Edward A. Knapic Sr. lived a life rich with love, and he leaves behind a legacy that will continue to inspire. Rest in peace, dear Edward, your contributions and kindness will not be forgotten.
