Henderson, Edna Grace (Betts), 92, New Florence passed away February 12, 2014 at The Bethlen Home, Ligonier. Born October 11, 1921 in Portage the daughter of late Joseph and Viola (Roby) Betts. Also preceded in death by son Jay A. Henderson, sister Olive Henderson and brothers Donald, James and infant brothers Ralph and Thomas Betts. Survived by children Dorothy Galbraith and husband Donald, New Florence; Anna Henderson, Seward; Guy Henderson, Belle Vernon; Kay Crusan and husband Robert, Natrona Heights; daughter-in-law Judy Henderson, Severn, MD; sisters Gertrude Bowers, Romayne Boring and husband Eugene, Joan Penrose and husband Leroy and sister-in-law Jean Betts, 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Member of Laurel Valley Senior Center, New Florence where she was active in their chorus, enjoyed country music and gospel hymns. Family and friends received 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence, where service will be held 3 PM Saturday with Rev. Barry Young officiating. Private interment will follow at Fort Palmer Cemetery.
