Earl Lee George, Sr. 69, Strongstown, went to be with the Lord April 4, 2025, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.  Born June 14, 1955, in Indiana, the son of the late Herman Walter and Catherine Caroline (Hollenbaugh) Geroge.  Preceded in death by wife Audrey Lynn (Henry) George.  Brother Richard George and sister Alice Sark, brothers-in-law Larry Stalman and George Sark.

Survived by children Earl George, Jr. and wife Jodi, Cramer; Janet "Missy" Hood and husband Jim, Homer City; Anthony "Tony" George and wife Jill, Dilltown; grandchildren Ty George, Harrisburg; Hailey (Hood) Leightley and husband Galen, Red Lodge, England; Dakota Hood and Isabella Hood, both Homer City; Ada George, Dilltown. Brother to James George and wife Mildred, Caroline Michaels and husband Homer, Arthur George and wife Carol, all of Homer City, Zella Pearl Stalman, Holmesville, OH. numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Earl served his community as a Buffington Township Supervisor for 28 years, worked as a general contractor for 50 years and was a coal miner for 18 years.  He enjoyed going to camp, hunting, fishing and playing guitar.  He could be found tinkering around and fixing things.

Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh where service will be held 11 am Thursday.  Rev Rick Markle officiating.  Interment Pineland Cemetery.
