Gates, Dorothy O, 97, Cramer died June 7, 2012 at Presbyterian Home in Johnstown. Born August 22, 1914 in Nanty Glo, the daughter of the late Lewis and Eunice (Reese) Edwards. Also preceded in death by husband William C. Gates; sisters Gladys Schilling, Marie Cramer, and Helen Jones; brothers Lewis, Robert and Donald Edwards; sister-in-law Mildred Mitchell. Survived by daughter Brenda and husband Jarrid Magalich, Robinson; grandchildren Alicia Bowers husband Bill, Cramer; and Ashleigh Croyle and husband Jason, New Florence; great-grandchildren Hunter and Hannah Bowers; Troy, Katrina and Peyton Croyle; sister-in-laws Ann Edwards; Bonnie Edwards; Wanda Gates; Betty Irvin; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Member of Blacklick Community United Methodist Church and O.E.S., Johnstown. At Dorothy's request there will be no public viewing, her life will be celebrated with a grave site service 11 am Monday at Armagh Cemetery. Rev. Jonathan R. Bell officiating.
