Kaufman, Donald R. "Chewy", 54, Seward passed away unexpectedly March 17, 2016 at home. Born May 13, 1961 in Johnstown the son of the late Charles and Dorothy (Varner) Kaufman. Also preceded in death by brother Kenneth Kaufman. Survived by wife Barbara (Woodley) Kaufman; Step-children Lonnie Wayne Kerr, Jr and wife Marcia, currently in Brazil; and William David Kerr and wife Nicole, station at Fort Bragg in North Carolina; brother of Norman and wife Marge, New Florence; Dennis and wife Lorrain, Latrobe; Robert and wife Rebecca, Seward; Marilyn Howard and husband Michael, Seward; and Larry and wife Lori, New Florence; special nephews and niece Josh, Alex and Stacy and the children of Charles and Darlene Woodley also several other nieces, nephews and extended family members. Chewy was a member of Sandy Bottom Sportsman Club, social member of New Florence V.F.W., who enjoyed riding motorcycles with his brothers and was well known as a long time mechanic at Chuck's Body Shop in Seward. Friends received 2-4 & 7-9 PM Wednesday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence, where service will be held 11 AM Thursday with Pastor Jim Miller officiating.
