Donald N Galbraith

Galbraith, Donald N., 91, New Florence, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2026, at Heritage Ridge Senior Living Ctr. Born March 19, 1935, in St. Clair Township, the son of the late J. Neil Galbraith and Clara Mae (McCreary) Galbraith Shearer. Also preceded in death by brother Samuel Galbraith and son-in-law Bob Thompson.

Donald is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Dorothy (Henderson) Galbraith, whose partnership was a testament to enduring love. His memory will be lovingly honored by his children Donna Pardee and husband Bob, Bolivar; Edna Mae Thompson, New Florence; Geneva Galbraith, Lucerne; Viola Overton, Windber; Neil Galbratih and wife Ashley, New Florence; grandchildren Eric Baird, Josh Baird, Matt Thompson, Jacob Thompson, Brett Shoup, Christina Puskar, Jon Puskar, Racheal Galbraith, and Kaleb Schmidt; and five great-grandchildren.

Don was a dedicated employee of Ligonier Mill in New Florence who handled both grinding and delivering for the feed mill. He was a tireless worker who enjoyed helping friends and neighbors. Don especially enjoyed Sunday drives and driving back roads. He was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, New Florence and Army National Guard Veteran.

Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence, where service will be held 11 AM Tuesday. Rev. Susan Blank officiating. Interment Fairfield Cemetery.
