Diana Boring L., 72, New Florence, passed away April 7, 2023, at West Penn Hospital.  Born February 9, 1951, in New Florence the daughter of the late George and Mary (Burkett) Penrose.  Also preceded in death by husband Dennis W. Boring and brother Mark Penrose.

Survived by children Craig A. Boring and girlfriend Melissa Cochran, Johnstown; Valerie A. Smith and husband Joseph, Homer City; Melissa S. Steffey and husband Curtis, Lexington, South Carolina; Stacy L. Boring, New Florence.  Grandchildren Joey, Katilyn, Shawn, James, Jennah, C.J. and Matthew.  Great-grandchildren Karlee, Teagan, Walter, and Evalyn. Brother Dennis Penrose and wife Diane, Seward.

Diana was a long-time volunteer with the United Area Food Pantry and enjoyed gardening and spending her time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Friends received  Monday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier Street, New Florence, where service will be held 11 AM Tuesday. Pastor David Peightal officiating.  Interment Germany Lutheran Cemetery.
