Barbus, Della G., 95, formerly of New Florence went to be with the Lord June 17, 2014 at St. Andrew's Village. Born August 11, 1918 in New Florence the daughter of late Harry E. and Elizabeth (McAdams) Boring. Also preceded in death by husband Michael P. Barbus and these brothers and sisters James Boring, Val Boring, Annie Baird, Lloyd Boring, Olive Penrose and Orville Boring. Survived by sons Michael W. Barbus and wife Gwen, Shelby, NC; and Harry A. Barbus and wife Marsha, Crabtree; grandson Michael B. Barbus and fiancé, Renee Roach, great -granddaughters Pyper Jai Barbus and Ella Jane Barbus who was born on Della's birthday in 2010; and numerous nieces and nephews. Della graduated from Bolivar High School, and was a dedicated housewife and mother. Longtime member of Germany United Methodist Church. Liked to cook and Bake Bread (and gave a lot to the neighbors); enjoyed her grandson Michael tremendously. Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 pm Friday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence where service will be held 11 am Saturday. Rev. R. Kenneth Keiper officiating. Interment Germany Lutheran Cemetery.
