Deborah Hamrock

Deborah Elaine Hamrock of Homer City, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at the age of 75.

Deborah was born on December 22, 1950, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Preceded in death by parents Donald and Doris Carney and brother Donald Carney. Survived by loving husband John Hamrock, daughters Bridget Battaglini (Charles), Lisa Potochniak, Jodi Hamrock, granddaughter Isabel Potochniak, brother Robert Carney (Vicki), sister Brenda Penrose (Todd), and sister Gail Robertson (Dan).

She was a member of the Dilltown Baptist Church and a graduate of United High School. She went on to pursue a degree at Conemaugh School of Nursing. As a licensed practical nurse, she devoted her time to caring for others, including her family. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter Isabel.

Deborah will be greatly missed by all whose lives she has touched. To commemorate her life, a private viewing and funeral for immediate family will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2026
