Plowman, Dean O., 88, Gas Center, went to be with the Lord Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Cambria Care Center, Ebensburg. Born February 24, 1926 in Vintondale the son of the late Joseph and Lottie Plowman. Also preceded in death wife Mary Margaret (Bracken); sister Viola Bracken, brothers Melvin, Doyle and Leo Plowman. Survived by son Barry Dean Plowman and wife Mellissa, Gas Center. Dean was a member of Blacklick Community United Methodist Church, owner/operator of Dean O's Barns and a retired crane operator at Bethlehem Steel Corp, Johnstown. At Dean's request there will be no public viewing. A memorial service will be held Friday July 11, 2014 at 6 PM at Blacklick Community United Methodist Church, 1488 Bracken Road, Vintondale. With his son Barry Dean Plowman officiating.
