Dawn René Gentry, 59, of Seward passed away February 21, 2024, at home.  Born July 11, 1964, in Providence, RI, the daughter of late Thomas Binninger and Darlene Boales.  Also preceded in death by sister Michele Stewart and brother T. E. "Eddie" Bininger.

Survived by husband of over 35 years Jerry Gentry, children Tabatha Boring and husband Michael, New Florence; Jeremy Gentry and wife Tara, Holley, NY; John Gentry and Brooke Baney, Altoona; grandchildren Alisabeth Gentry and Andrew Herman, Lindsay Mallory, Hailey Gentry, Brooke Gentry, Landen Westrick, Carter Westrick, Grayson Gentry, and Jase Gentry.

Dawn was affectionately known as "Mom" to most of the neighborhood, was very fond of her canine friends, and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.  She would volunteer along with her husband Jerry for activities of the Seward Vol. Fire Co and other local fire companies.

Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 pm Monday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence where service will be 1 pm Tuesday.  Pastor Sharon Hamley officiating.
