David E. Kelley, 73, Johnstown passed away on August 22, 2021, at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital from complications from a fall.  Born October 16, 1947, in Clearfield, the son of late Eugene and LaRue Kelley of Ebensburg.  Preceded in death by parents and brother-in-law Edwin McCulley.

Survived by wife Gloria Rummel Kelley, Johnstown and sister, Margaret McCulley of Curwensville.  Also preceded in death by his furry friends Samson, Onyx, Aigner, Dreyfus and "The Beege".

He retired from Consol Energy Washington, PA in 1999.  Graduated from Central Cambria High School in 1966 where he played basketball.  He entered the United States Air Force in 1967 and was a Crew Chief on the C130's in Vietnam.  He was a lifetime member of New Florence VFW Post #7622.  His hobbies included golfing, traveling to Atlantic City and sports, especially the Steelers and Pirates.

There will be a graveside service at St. Francis Cemetery on August 27, 2021 at 11 AM, with Rev. Norman Kaufman, New Florence and Pastor Steve Shields, Curwensville Alliance Church, co-officiating.
