Daniel F. Dziagwa, 69, Armagh died May 24, 2014 at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born September 21, 1944 in Johnstown the son of late Frank and Elizabeth (Franklin) Dziagwa. Also preceded in death by brothers James and Frank Dziagwa. Survived by wife Ann (Garsteck) Dziagwa; children Mary Dziagwa, Armagh; Daniel J. Dziagwa and wife Tammy, Homer City; grandchildren Payson, Mayah, Alexander, David and Gage; sisters-in-laws Jean Dziagwa, Armagh; Deborah Dziagwa, Johnstown; Kathleen Dull, Greensburg; nephews James Dziagwa and wife Dana, Armagh; Jason Dziagwa, Ebensburg; Rick Dziagwa, Johnstown, Kara Strittmatter and husband Josh, Murrysville; great-nieces Emma Strittmatter and Rebecca Dziagwa. Dan was a graduate of United H.S. and attended IUP Academy of Culinary Arts in Punxsutawney; life-time member of NRA and NRA firearm safety instructor; retiree of Bethlehem Steel Corp, Johnstown Plant where he was a machinist; Member of United Steelworkers and Jackson Twp. Community Rod & Gun Club who enjoyed hunting, fishing, target shooting, barbequing and spending time with his grandchildren. Friends received 2-9 PM Tues day at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Wednesday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Seward. Future private interment Armagh Cemetery.
