Shaffer, Charles H., 78, Robinson passed away January 31, 2019 at St. Andrew's Village.  Born August 24, 1940 in Latrobe the son of late Harry and Lillian Marie (Folicker) Shaffer.  Also preceded in death by sons Scott Shaffer and Shawn Carota; brothers Don, Fred, Richard "Ricky", Dennis, and Bill Shaffer and sister Nancy Malitz.

Survived by wife Gloria (Boyle) Shaffer.  Son Charles A. Shaffer and wife Traci, Lancaster.  Step-children Thomas Lindsey, Jr., Davidsville, and Michelle Gibbons and husband Michael, Riverview, FL.  4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild.  Brothers Harry Shaffer, Latrobe, Jerry Shaffer, Ohio, James Shaffer, Youngstown.  Sisters Arlene Rager, Latrobe.

Charles was a retired coal miner and member of UMWA

Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 PM Tuesday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence, where service will be held 11 AM Wednesday.  Interment Germany Lutheran Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Charles name may be made to Radiation Oncology Department at Conemaugh Cancer Center, 1020 Franklin Street, Lower Level, Johnstown, PA  15905
