Carolyn L. "Carrie" (Hood) Oliver, 77, New Florence, passed away January 5, 2023, at Indiana Regional Medical Center.  Born January 9, 1945, in Indiana, the daughter of the late Thomas E. and Thelma (Sloan) Hood.  Also preceded in death by brother Kenneth Raymond; sisters Barbara Gibson and Susan Poling.

Survived by loving husband of almost 60 years, Raymond "John" Oliver; daughters Stacy (Oliver) Feighner and husband Tony, Carrolltown and Christi (Oliver) Roddy and husband John "J.P.", New Florence.   Grandchildren Joshua Muir and wife Amanda, Indiana; Jacqueline (Roddy) Pardee and Ryan Westrick, Rossiter; Jillian Roddy and Andru Boring, New Florence; Gregory Roddy, Frederick, MD; Nicholas Roddy, New Florence.  Great-grandchildren Haylie Muir, Arya Boring and John Westrick, along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Carrie was a former cashier at Ideal Market for almost 23 years and was a frequent patron of the New Florence Family Restaurant.  Carrie was also very proud of the time she spent working at Bolivar Medical Center.  She enjoyed the time she got to spend with family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received 2-4 and 6-8 PM Tuesday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence, where service will be held 11 AM Wednesday.  Interment Germany Lutheran Cemetery.
