Callihan, Carol Lee, 72, Concord, NC, formerly of Erie, passed away July 16, 2017 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis, NC. Born December 23, 1944 in New Florence, the daughter of the late Russel and Beatrice Viola (Haman) Beal. Also preceded in death by sister Sally Miller. Survived by husband Lawrence; children Beth Dempsey; Kim Monde and husband Tim; son Dan Callihan and Pam Psutka. Seven grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Siblings Jack Beal; Shirley Reilly and Linda Beal. Carol was a part of the first graduating class of the Laurel Valley High School in 1962 and she was a license CNA for the state of Pennsylvania. She worked in the Erie area as a secretary for Battersby Convalescent Home, Voss & Goodman and Glenwood United Methodist Church. In keeping with Carol's wishes, she is returning to New Florence where friends will be received 2-4 and 6 till time of service at 7 PM Thursday at Kenneth A.
