Carl E. McClarren, 84, New Florence went to be with the Lord on January 14, 2024, at Indiana Regional Medical Center.  Born August 9, 1939, in Johnstown the son of late Charles and Mary (Marks) McClarren.  Also preceded by his extended family Roy and Alverda "Jump" (Johns) Stiffler whose family he has lived with since the 1977 Flood.

Survived by sisters Edie Dunmire, Mary Frances Slaughter and husband Thomas, special twin brother Charles McClaren and wife Karen, and sister Sally Roles and husband David.  He is also survived by his extended family Dolores Stiffler, Bonnie Stiffler, Frank Stiffler and wife Jean, Linda Foust and husband Nate, Cindy McCurdy and husband James "Butch", and Troy Stiffler and wife Elizabeth, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Carl enjoyed gardening, mowing grass, tinkering, cooking, watching wrestling and John Wayne movies.  He always had a special smile.

Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia Street, Armagh where service will be held 11 am Thursday.  Pastor Kim Betz and Ron Gardener CLM officiating.  Interment Germany Lutheran Cemetery.
