William Edward "Bear" Silk, 63, Brush Valley, passed away September 30, 2019 at Indiana Regional Medical Center.  Born August 4, 1956 in Johnstown the son of late Edward and Nancy (McKinney) Silk.  Also preceded in death by brother James Silk.

Survived by wife of 38 years Barbara (Paynter) Silk; sons Scott Silk, Brooklyn, NY; and Thomas Silk and wife Garyn, Brush Valley; grandchildren Nancy and Clark Silk; brother Thomas Silk and wife Patricia (Payne), Strongstown; sisters Cindy Allshouse and husband Eric, New Florence; Susan Allshouse and husband Timothy, New Florence.

Bear enjoyed being a grandfather, spending time with his family, going fishing, traveling to Walt Disney World and watching the Steelers play.
