Betty Ruth Peters, 78, New Florence passed away December 22, 2023, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.  Born March 13, 1945, in Johnstown, the daughter of the late Frank A. Sr., and Virginia "Virgie" (Forsythe) Rolley.  Also preceded in death by brothers Michael, Thomas, and Edward Silk; sisters Nora Yeager, Ida Belle Callis and Virginia "Ginger" Gibson.

Survived by loving husband of 59 years, Raymond Peters; children Cory Peters, Parkesburg; Rayla Durler and fiancé Paul Lingenfelter, Seward; Dustin Peters and wife Sandy, Bolivar.  Grandchildren Logan Peters, Carlie Peters and special friend Josh Hamilton, Lexie Rae Peters and special friend Eddie Alcantar, Brenna Gordon & husband Seth, Justin Peters and wife Kelsey, Dakota Peters and wife Kylie, Cole Peters and fiancé Mallory Miller, Joshua Gindlesperger.  Great-grandchildren Branston Gordon, Harlyn Peters, Blake Peters, Rhett Gordon, Jayde Peters, Cash Gordon.  Sisters Mary Jayne Boring, Virginia; Katherine Cosner & husband Dean, Maryland; Penny Rolley and spouse Neva Gindlesperger, New Florence. Brothers Frank Rolley, Jr. and wife Evelyn, Johnstown; William Rolley, South Carolina; special daughters Penny Peters and Neva Gindlesperger, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Betty's greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  She enjoyed gift giving, crocheting blankets for newborns and gift baskets, her trips to Live with Raymond.  Those who knew her could spend hours talking and laughing with her.  Betty also enjoyed baking, playing the lottery, and bingo.

Friends received 2-8 pm Tuesday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence, where service will be held 1 pm Wednesday.  Interment Armagh Cemetery.
