Barbara Jean Wells, 50, Greenville, NC passed away April 12, 2024.  Born March 15, 1974, in Manassas, VA the daughter of Pamela (Mack) Riddle, Armagh, and the late Ralph D. Riddle.

In addition to her father, she is also preceded in death by sister Jennifer Anne Miller, maternal grandparents Glen and Janet Mack, paternal grandparents Glenn and Delta (Hammack) Riddle and step-grandmother Ida Mae Riddle.

In addition to her mother, she is also survived by daughter Mackenzie "Mack" Hanlon and fiancé Dylan Butler, Greenville, NC and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Barbara was a kindhearted person who would help others, and an animal lover and animal advocate.  She was a very adventurous person who enjoyed horseback riding, AVT riding, skydiving, and numerous other activities that would not be for the faint of heart. Barbara was the Payroll Director for East Carolina University.

Friends received 11 am till time of memorial service 1 pm Saturday June 1, 2024, at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia Street, Armagh.  Rev. Scott Hamley officiating.  Private interment Armagh Cemetery.
