Barbara Lee Suschak, 81, New Florence, passed away February 15, 2020, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born January 14, 1939 in Johnstown, the daughter of the late Harry and Helen (Frum) Merritt. Also preceded in death by husband Paul P. Suschak; brothers William, Richard and Ronald Merritt. She is survived by sons Patrick Suschak and wife Deborah, New Florence; Paul Suschak and spouse Jimmy Cates, Lake Worth, FL; Michael Suschak, New Florence; James Suschak and wife Tricia, Morgantown, WV; John Suschak and partner Michael P. Jacobs, Pittsburgh. Grandchildren Patrick, Jeremy; Nathan, Daniel, Jessica. Great-grandchildren Ava Grace and Liam Hunter. Barb enjoyed watching movies, especially Jerry Lewis movies, music, dancing, singing, arts and crafts, attending her sons and grandchildren sporting events, attending church, and cooking or baking one of her many recipes. Most important of all to Barb was spending time with her family. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 PM Tuesday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence. Funeral service will be held 11 am Wednesday at Shannon Creek Baptist Church, 366 Shannon Creek Road, New Florence, PA 15944. Pastor Roger Roadman officiating. Interment Fairfield Cemetery.
